Testing Information

Students may complete all preparation courses in person or virtually. The official GED examination is scheduled through the GED Testing Service and, in Florida, is currently administered in person at an approved testing center.

Develop the mathematical skills needed for everyday life, college, and the workplace. Students learn arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data analysis, and problem-solving strategies while building confidence in interpreting graphs, formulas, and real-world mathematical situations.

Explore the principles of life science, physical science, and Earth and space science while developing scientific reasoning skills. Students learn to interpret charts, graphs, experiments, and scientific data to solve problems and make evidence-based conclusions.

Gain a deeper understanding of history, civics and government, economics, and geography. Students examine historical events, constitutional principles, government systems, and the social and economic factors that shape communities, preparing them to think critically about the world around them.

Strengthen reading, writing, and language skills through lessons focused on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and evidence-based writing. Students practice analyzing informational and literary texts, constructing written responses, and applying critical thinking to communicate effectively.
